Sculptor, RA Honored Artist Tigran Arzumanyan stated in a conversation with Iravaban.net that he got to know the former Head of the Urban Development Committee Vahagn Vermishyan during his tenure.
“I had a project that I asked him to visit my studio to discuss. We looked at it. He was very attracted and excited. We went to Goris together for the project of building a chapel-monument of Grigor Narekatsi on the famous rocks of the city. We had quite a long conversation. He was quite enthusiastic about his projects, about the urban planning changes to be made in Armenia,” Tigran Arzumanyan recalls.
According to the description of the sculptor, a skilled and good specialist like Vermishyan could be very useful for the city planning programs of the RA.
