Russia is ready to support the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, negotiations can be held in Moscow. The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, stated at the narrow-format session of the CIS Council of Heads, TASS reports.

“The preparation of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, which will finally put an end to this long-standing conflict is on the agenda. The Russian side, of course, is ready to provide all possible assistance to our partners in this matter,” the Head of the Russian state said.

Putin noted that negotiations can be organized in Moscow in any format.

“Of course, we will help those negotiations to end with a peace treaty, which will be signed by the leaders of those countries,” the Russian President emphasized.
