Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The situation created around Nagorno Karabakh and the steps to overcome it were discussed.

Both sides emphasized the need for guarantees for the security and rights of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Reference was made to the emergency session of the UN Security Council scheduled for today, 21 September.
