Information in the media that Azerbaijan allegedly warned Russian peacekeepers in advance about the operation in Nagorno-Karabakh is not true: information about the start of the operation was communicated several minutes before the start of hostilities, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday. “The media are disseminating information that the Azerbaijani side allegedly warned Russian peacekeepers “in advance” about today’s “anti-terrorist operation” in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is not true,” Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.
