During high-level contacts with the United States and other partners, Azerbaijan agreed to the simultaneous use of the Lachin Corridor and the Aghdam-Stepanakert road through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has announced that the Azerbaijani side is ready to create conditions for the transportation of cargo through the Lachin Corridor parallel to the Aghdam-Stepanakert road with the mediation of the ICRC, with the observance of border and customs procedures at the checkpoint.

“We declare once again that the Azerbaijani side is ready to create conditions for the transportation of goods along the Aghdam-Khankend road with the mediation of the ICRC, observing the border and customs procedures at the Lachin border checkpoint,” the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry, Aykhan Hajizadeh said.
