The attacks on democratic activists in Azerbaijan are unacceptable. US Senator Chris Van Hollen wrote in his Twitter microblog.
“We must do more to pressure Pres. Aliyev to stop cracking down on political dissidents and to free political prisoners like economist Gubad Ibadoghlu — and also to end the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh.” He wrote.
