The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno Karabakh. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
It is noted that in 30 observation posts, Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation around the clock and monitor the observance of the ceasefire regime. During the last 24 hours, no violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded.
Three routes were patrolled in Martakert, Martuni and Shushi regions.
In general, since 23 November, 2020, the engineering and mining teams of the Russian peacekeeping contingent cleared 2530.8 hectares of land, 689.5 km of roads, 1940 buildings from unexploded mines and shells, 26790 explosive objects were found and dismantled.
To ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
