The Ministry of Justice has acquired a number of state-of-the-art equipment, 200 units of electronic monitoring devices, to ensure the applicability of house arrest and administrative control measures, as well as restriction of liberty. They are for wearing on the leg or hand.

Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan said this today, on 13 March, during the session of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

“Today, about 70 units of modern equipment are used,” he said.

According to the Minister, a polygraph has been bought as well. “It started operating a few days ago,” Minasyan said.

Also, special equipment, which is intended for the examination of documents and signatures, was purchased. In addition to this, the Ministry has also acquired a new technique, with which it became possible to model and to obtain 3D images of the scene of the incident and information on gunshot damages that exist there.
