On 10 February, President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree awarding the title of Honored Lawyer to Ruzanna Barseghyan.
“Based on the petition of the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, Part 1 of the Law “On State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia”.
Award the honorary title of Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Armenia to Ruzanna Hakob BARSEGHIAN, Judge of the Criminal Court Appeals, for her merits in strengthening the rule of law and the legal system,” the decree states.
It should be noted that on 13 February, the SJC adopted a decision regarding the termination of powers due to reaching the age limit for judges of Ruzanna Hakob Barseghyan, judge of the Criminal Court of Appeals, as of 18 February, 2023.
