Daughters (Mariam Simonyan, Ani Simonyan) and the wife of the former Rector of Yerevan State University Aram Simonyan were invited to the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the RA General Prosecutor’s Office: Iravaban.net learned this from the Azdarar.am website.

A study was conducted regarding the property belonging to Aram Simonyan, as a result of which a summary was drawn up. The daughters and the wife were invited to the Prosecutor’s office in order to give an explanation, because the property registered in their name is also subject to confiscation.

“You have the right to appear at the to the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the RA General Prosecutor’s Office (50, Tigran Metsi Avenue, Yerevan) within one month from the moment of receiving this summons to get acquainted with the materials of the study, present a position, as well as a declaration,” the announcement states.

Let’s remind that in June 2022, Aram Simonyan died due to a heart attack.
