The “protesters” who blocked the Stepanakert-Goris interstate highway have changed their demands

Azerbaijani media reports that the Azerbaijanis who blocked the Stepanakert-Goris interstate highway have changed their demands.

Minval presented their demands.

“- The territories of the Karabakh region where Armenians live and where Russian peacekeepers are stationed should be jointly controlled by Russian peacekeepers and the state bodies of Azerbaijan.

– Restore the control of all state institutions of Azerbaijan, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Border Service, and the State Customs Committee, in the zone of temporary responsibility of the peacekeepers.

– Separate points of the State Border Service and the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan should be created on the border with Armenia, in the direction of Lachin,” they noted.

Let us remind that it is the third day that Azerbaijan continues to block the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia.

“”Taking into account that the supply of gas to Artsakh from Armenia is also blocked in the Azerbaijani sector, and Artsakh is deprived of gas, we call on the residents of Artsakh to use electricity and fuel sparingly,” Artsakh InfoCenter noted informs.

Azerbaijan stopped gas supply to Artsakh.

It should be noted that initially the group was “complaining against the illegal exploitation of mines in the area under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers”. Tents have been set up on the spot.
