Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Deputy of the “Armenia” Faction of the National Assembly, reports:

“Dear compatriots,

It has been more than 24 hours since 120,000 of our compatriots of Artsakh are under siege.

I would like to inform that since yesterday the worldwide offices of Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Hay Dat have been engaged in presenting the genocidal actions of Azerbaijan to the international community.

Regarding the situation, today the National Assembly of Artsakh convened an extraordinary session and issued a call to all Armenians, in which it urged them to use all opportunities to speak out on various platforms about the humanitarian disaster created by Azerbaijan in Artsakh, to stand up for the protection of the rights of Artsakh Armenians and to be ready for necessary actions in that direction.

Therefore, the following actions are urgent in the near future.

1. Protest actions in front of the embassies of Azerbaijan and Turkey in different countries.
2. Protest actions at international representations in Armenia. Today, on 13 December, at 4:00 p.m., we are gathering in front of the UN representative office. Then we will send letters to the Embassies of France, Russia and the USA.
3. Extraordinary session of the RA National Assembly, adoption of a statement condemning the genocidal actions of Azerbaijan.

We are carrying out works in these three directions, about which we will provide additional information.”
