Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

They discussed issues related to the resolution of the situation in the Lachin Corridor. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted communication between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and the implementation of consistent steps by the Russian peacekeeping mission in that direction.

Reference was made to the process of unblocking the regional infrastructure, as well as to the implementation of the trilateral statements announcements of 9 November, 2020, 11 January, 2021, 26 November, and 31 October, 2022.

As we have already reported , a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway at 10:30 this morning, again for environmental reasons.

As of 4:40 p.m., the road remains closed both ways.
