A new physics laboratory with new furniture and equipment was opened in the High School of the Polytechnic with the financing of Mr. Gabriel Jemberjyan, the President of “Pyunik” Charitable Foundation.
“This is an achievement not only for the Polytechnic University, but also for the development of the field, because this school educates brilliant young people who in the future will become not only technocrats, but also natural scientists, physicists, mathematicians, and our future depends on education in the fields of engineering, technology, and natural science,” Mr. Gor Vardanyan, Rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia said.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA), Tigran Avinyan, experts in the field, and others.
High school students performed physics experiments during the event.
