A global outage of WhatsApp has been reported

According to Downdetector, users around the world are reporting crashes on their WhatsApp messenger.

Most users complain about the inability to send messages, and there are also reports of problems with the performance of both the application and the desktop version of the messenger.

WhatsApp outages are reported by users in North America, the Middle East and Europe, including Russia and Ukraine.

Meta, which owns WhatsApp, has not commented on the outage yet.
