The National Assembly continues the work of the regular session. The 21 issues included in the agenda of the session were put to the vote in the Parliament.
A number of discussed drafts were adopted. With one of them, it is proposed to assign a care allowance to a parent who is registered at the address of the place of residence in the RA and takes care of a child up to two years old, regardless of the place of registration and the fact of being a hired worker.
The Draft Education Development Strategy 2030 discussed on 4 October was adopted. In the National Assembly, it was also proposed not to issue a uniform license to the organizations in the field of urban development, to establish liability measures in cases of non-performance of demolition, dismantling works in the field of urban development, or in the case of performing them without a permit. It was proposed to reduce the current state duty for imported cement to 2000 drams, and to remove the duty applied to clinker, the raw material of cement.
Amendments to the Law “On Military Service and Status of the Servicemen” will allow the persons of Armenian nationality to rejoin the Armenian national teams. The National Assembly also proposed to extend the work of the commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war for another 6 months.
In the final part of the 5 October session, members of the RA Government will arrive at the parliament and answer the questions of the deputies.
