Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed the situation on the border with Armenia and the process of normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan on the phone with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday. As TASS News Agency informed, the Press Service of the leader of Azerbaijan reported.

“The presidents talked about the early start of peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” the report says.

Aliyev’s press service noted that Macron also informed the President of Azerbaijan about his earlier conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
