French President Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and called on him to return to maintaining the ceasefire between Baku and Yerevan. The office of the Head of France reported.
“In a telephone conversation with President Aliyev, President Macron emphasized the need to return to the observance of the ceasefire,” Agence France-Presse quotes the words of the Elysée Palace.
Earlier, Macron had a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Let’s remind that on 13 September, from 00:05, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces started to fire intensively from artillery means, large-caliber firearmss in the direction of Goris, Sotk and Jermuk in the direction of the Armenian positions. The enemy also uses UAVs.
The situation in some parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues to be tense as of 18:00. The enemy is trying to secure a positional advance throughout the day, particularly in the direction of Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish and Sotk, using special purpose units. The RA Armed Forces continue to carry out the combat tasks set before them in full scope.
Data on the losses of the Armenian side are being verified. As of now, the Armenian side has 49 victims confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.
