The number of victims as a result of the explosion in “Surmalu” Shopping Center has reached 5. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

There are 5 victims: Anahit Mkhitaryan, Misak Margaryan, Jemma Nazaryan and Gayane Avetisyan. One of the victims has not been identified.

As a result of the calls received to the 911 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Sityuation, the following citizens can be considered missing in the territory of the “Surmalu” Shopping Center:

As of 00:25 on 15 August, 185 rescue workers are participating in the firefighting and search operations, twenty water tankers, twelve trucks, five tractors, three cranes and seven additional equipment of the Yerevan Municipality are involved.
