Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu within the framework of the G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Bali.
“During the negotiations, a thorough exchange of ideas took place on the international and regional agenda, the situation in Ukraine was highlighted,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The ministers discussed cooperation between Moscow and Ankara in the Black Sea, and also agreed to coordinate efforts to ensure the safety of civilians in Ukraine.
