Spain has sent “Patriot” surface-to-air missile (SAM) system to Turkey. Ermenihaber.am reported.
The “Patriot”, which was transported to Turkey by the “YSABEL” logistics ship belonging to the Spanish Navy, arrived in the port of Mersin on 10 June.
According to a Turkish source, the system was supposed to be sent to provide logistical support to the Spanish “Patriot” system stationed at the Incirlik military base in Adana. However, it became clear from the pictures that the sent system also contained a volley fire jet system.
