Patriotic, devoted, friendly: these are the memories about the six students School No. 55 after Chekhov, who became heroes in the 44-day war. The devotion of Gevorg, Yuri, Suren, Ashot, David and Artur to the homeland became an example for everyone: a message to love and protect their country. From now on, the generations will get acquainted with the history of the boys from the monument placed in the yard of the school, the opening of which was reserved for the first deputy mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan.

The event dedicated to the heroic pupils of Chekhov school was a unique tribute to their memory.  Their teachers, who also have an important contribution to the education of the patriotic generation told about the students.

The memorial to the students of the school was erected by the family of conscript, private Davit Poghosyan.
