Disobedience actions are taking place in the Kentron (Center) administrative district of Yerevan.

A number of roads are closed, the police try to open the roads, in some parts they succeed, some streets remain closed.

Roads are closed not only by living walls of people, but also by cars. In a number of sections, the cars were parked in the opposite direction on the streets, and there were no drivers in them.

It should be noted that the actions in the big intersections are coordinated by opposition deputies of the National Assembly.

The deputy of the “With Honor” Faction of the National Assembly Tigran Abrahamyan mentioned from one of the places of the action, Sayat-Nova-Charents intersection, that they had warned about the acts of disobedience yesterday, during the 1 May rally.

“We have started round-the-clock peaceful actions from France Square. We call on our citizens to be with us; because only through consolidation and mobilization of common forces we can achieve a common result.

The police obstruct the free expression and awareness of our citizens, trying to take them out of the area by taking rather strict measures. The police take a completely different approach to the situation. I think that this is not more a self-activity of the police, but a politically made order, which, unfortunately, is carried out by the police,” Tigran Abrahamyan said.
