The Mayor of Yerevan Hrachya Sargsyan was also present at the Government sitting.
In a briefing with journalists, he referred to the news of Tigran Avinyan being appointed a possible mayoral candidate.
“I still have one and a half years in office. After that, Tigran Avinyan will be nominated, at the moment I do not have a feeling of injustice,” he said.
The Mayor mentioned that he had no disagreement.
“I have served for 5 years as the First Deputy Mayor, then Mayor. I think it is enough and maybe I will move to another job. I will use the experience I have gained in the municipality for the benefit of the Republic,” he said.
The Mayor said that there was a problem with building a metro station in Ajapnyak.
“I also said at the Government session today that we have not done capital construction in the existing stations for many years, there is a need to do. Now two programs will be implemented in parallel. Appropriate measures will be provided for the construction of the new station, and the re-equipment of the existing ones,” Hrachya Sargsyan said.
He mentioned that the term is set at 510 days.
