Investigation on peacekeepers’ actions to be conducted in Artsakh: Pashinyan talked to Putin

During today’s government sitting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about his 6 April trilateral meeting with European Council President Charles Michel and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

He noted that an agreement had been reached according to which the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan had instructed the Foreign Ministers to start preparations for peace talks between the two countries.

He noted that there was a discussion about the deterioration of the security environment in the NKR and the events in the village of Parukh, but they did not receive a joint assessment.

“I did not consider further discussion of this particular topic on the Brussels platform, because, nevertheless, it is about the intrusion of Azerbaijani units into the peacekeeping mission zone in Nagorno Karabakh,” he said.
