The powers of a prosecutor shall be suspended in the following cases:
(1) instigation of criminal prosecution against a prosecutor until the adoption of relevant final decision;
(2) commitment of a dishonorable act that may serve as a ground for removal from office until the adoption of a final decision with respect to disciplinary proceedings instituted on the basis of the ground concerned.
The powers of the Deputy Prosecutor General shall be suspended upon the decree of the President of the Republic. The powers of other prosecutors shall be suspended upon the order of the Prosecutor General.
The salary of the prosecutor shall be maintained for the period of suspension of his/her powers.
