During the Macron-Erdoğan  meeting, important issues related to Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Brussels. The Erdoğan -Macron meeting took place within the framework of the NATO Summit.

According to the Elysee Palace, Erdoğan and Macron discussed the situation in the South Caucasus. During the meeting with the Turkish leader, Macron expressed his country’s determination to find a permanent political solution to the crisis between Azerbaijan and Armenia within the framework of the Minsk Group.

In addition, Macron expressed satisfaction with the efforts made by Turkey to normalize relations between Armenia and Turkey.

The parties also discussed the situation in Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of establishing a ceasefire as soon as possible.
