The representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov said during the briefing that the Russian air and space forces paralyzed the Vinnytsia airport with high-precision weapons.
According to Ukrainian sources, rockets were fired in the direction of the airport from the missile warships of the Russian Navy in the Sea.
The fighter and anti-aircraft defense of the Russian Air and Space Forces shot down three Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jets and three drones in the air, the official said.
The Ukrainian “Union” agency reported that one of the “Su-25” fighters of the Russian Defense Ministry was hit.
“Almost all of Ukraine’s air force has been destroyed,” Konashenkov said.
Russia’s Defense Ministry has warned neighboring countries about the inadmissibility of using their airports for a base of Ukrainian fighter jets. According to the ministry, it will be launched as a direct participation in the conflict.
The Russian Defense Ministry has warned that Ukrainian defense industries will be hit with high-precision weapons if they continue to repair damaged Ukrainian military equipment.
