NATO Deploys Elements of an Alliance Response Force for the First Time in the Context of Collective Defense
Following an emergency meeting, the NATO Military Committee announced the deployment of elements of the alliance’s response forces RIA NOVOSTI informs.
NATO’s defense plans have been activated, resulting in the deployment of elements of the NATO Response Force for the first time in the context of collective defense.
As the Chair of the Military Committee of the North Alliance, Admiral Rob Bauer, noted, the participants promptly made this decision.
“Our preparation was timely, and the reaction was quick, and therefore our defensive shield stands strong, ready to protect all allies and our alliance from aggression,” the admiral concluded.
