The Russian Defense Ministry reported casualties during a special operation in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reported.
“Russian servicemen show courage and heroism during the execution of special military tasks. Unfortunately, there are victims and wounded among our friends. But our losses are many times less than the annihilated nationalists and the losses of servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the statement said.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the military operation, Russian forces have attacked 1,067 military infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, including 27 command posts and communication center, 38 air defense air force S-300, Buk M-1 and “Osa” and 56 radar stations.
Today, 7 anti-aircraft missile systems, including one S-300 near Kramatorsk. Three attack drones Bayraktar TB-2 were hit near Chernigov.
Since the beginning of the operation, 254 tanks and other armored vehicles, 31 aircraft on land, 46 multiple missile systems, 103 artillery pieces and grenade launchers have been destroyed.
“We have targeted all the Ukrainian Nazis involved in intimidating our comrades, as well as the leaders of the Kiev regime and their perpetrators who call for violence against the Russian military. We will continue to treat with dignity the servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who laid down their arms. We understand that they have taken an oath to the people of Ukraine. All those who laid down their arms and stopped the resistance will be returned to their families,” the statement said.

The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the preliminary number of victims and wounded.
