Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan plans to have a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the coming days to resolve tensions between Russia and Ukraine, Turkish Presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said, RIA Novosti reported.
“Our President’s proposal for a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine is, in fact, the most important, the most concrete proposal to get out of this crisis. Our President’s efforts in that direction continue. During our last visit to Ukraine, the issue was discussed with Mr. Zelensky.
Erdoğan raised this issue in telephone conversations with Mr. Putin. There will be another phone call in the coming days. The parties will discuss this issue,” Kalin said.
