On Saturday, within the framework of the 15th summit of the Organization of Economic Cooperation in Ashgabat, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

Amir-Abdollahian, who accompanies Iranian President Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi during his visit to Turkmenistan, met in Ashgabat and held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed issues of mutual interest.
The Iranian Foreign Minister considered the cooperation between the two countries in various political, economic, cultural and media spheres “possible”, positively assessing the recent visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan to Tehran.
