Aliyev and Pashinyan agreed to meet in Brussels in December

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, after the telephone conversation with the President of the European Council Charles Michel, agreed to meet on 15 December in Brussels within the framework of the EU-Eastern Partnership summit.

RIA Novosti reported.

“President of the European Council Charles Michel has proposed a meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels within the framework of the EU-Eastern Partnership summit. The leaders agreed to hold a meeting in Brussels to discuss the regional situation and ways to overcome tensions,” the document reads.
