The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev have agreed to establish a direct line of communication at the level of defense ministers to prevent incidents around Nagorno Karabakh. According to “TASS”, this is stated in the statement of the European Council, which was spread on Friday in Brussels, after the telephone talks between the President of the European Council — Charles Michel and the leaders of the two countries.
“During the telephone talks, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to establish a direct line of communication at the level of defense ministers, which will serve as a mechanism to prevent incidents,” the statement said.
