Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan informs:

“Azerbaijani armed forces have launched an open terrorist attack on Armenia, including near some civilian settlements in Syunik region. Their actions are criminal from the beginning, they are part of the genocidal policy of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani armed forces invaded and illegally deployed near the settlements of the Republic of Armenia and in the sovereign territory. They are engaged in crimes, including terrorist acts. They shoot in the direction of the settlements, they are a real danger to the life and health of the civilians, they set fire to pastures and hayfields, because of their actions the free movement of people is restricted, etc.

The RA Human Rights Defender has initiated urgent investigations in connection with the terrorist acts of Azerbaijan since 14 November.

According to some data, it is reported that 6 RA servicemen were taken prisoner. This is a blatantly illegal act, as the deployments and actions of the Azerbaijani servicemen are unlawful from the beginning.

The Azerbaijani authorities bear all the responsibility for any damage to the life and health of the RA servicemen by their initially illegal, terrorist acts.
