The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has sent a circular letter to the organizations implementing higher and postgraduate professional educational programs in the Republic of Armenia.
The ministry reported.
Based on the epidemic situation in Armenia due to the spread of COVID-19 epidemic and the tendency of rapid growth of the disease in recent days, in order to control the epidemic situation and curb the spread of the disease, it was proposed to organize the educational process in the higher and postgraduate professional educational institutions from 26 October to 15 November, 2021 in online mode. The training should be organized using modern information and communication technologies and tools, according to the professional orientation of the university and the peculiarities of the taught specialties.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has sent a circular to the directors of pre-vocational (vocational) and secondary vocational education institutions. Based on the results and recommendations of the RA Ministry of Health research on coronavirus (COVID-19), the mentioned institutions have been instructed to organize the educational process remotely for two weeks from 26 October, 2021.
As part of the measures taken to prevent coronavirus infection in the country, it is also planned to extend the autumn vacations for 1-12 graders envisaged by the model curricula of the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years of the main general, specialized and special state educational institutions: until 7 November, 2021 inclusive.
The Ministry of Education and Science urges public educational institutions to refrain from calling employees to school during the holidays and to organize the work remotely as far away as possible.
