The Ministry of Health informs:

There is a global shortage of vaccines against coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide due to growing demand for vaccines on the one hand and manufacturing processes on the other.

The Republic of Armenia is no exception in this context. In addition to the above-mentioned problem, we also have a shortage of flights arriving in Armenia due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

There has been some shortage of Sinopharm vaccine in the country in recent days, but the Ministry of Health is in talks to import a new batch of vaccine as soon as possible.

At the same time, the breach of the minimum interval between the two doses does not harm health, and if receiving the second dose at a later date, the effectiveness of the vaccine does not decrease at all.
