Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“The dictator Baku, who is now actually pressed against the wall by Iran, is trying to manipulate the talk about the “3 + 3” (three South Caucasus countries + Russia, TH, Iran) formt, noting that Armenia is “failing” its establishment.

The fact of the attempt to recall the “format”, which is now almost forgotten by the Aliyev’s regime, is, in fact, a miserable attempt to interest Iran in participating in the South Caucasus processes.

On the other hand, the Baku dictator tries to position himself as the leader of a country with a clear anti-Iranian position, in fact offering himself to the West.

The game in both directions is very dangerous, because it is obvious that Iran has already decided not only to actively influence the developments in the South Caucasus, but also to seriously “participate” in the “settlement” of the internal Azerbaijani issues.

“I think we will hear more and more often about the structure called ‘Huseyniyun’ (‘Husseins’ )inside Azerbaijan with the image of a famous rifle and no less famous color.”
