An unknown person carried out an armed attack in the branch of one of the banks operating in “Yerevan Mall” shopping center.

The Public Relations and Information Department of the RA Police informed that an alarm had been received about the incident, and at the moment the groups are at the scene.

“Currently, the operative investigation groups of the police are at the scene, there are no other details yet,” the police said.

Spokesman for the RA Investigative Committee Vardan Tadevosyan said that an unknown person was neutralized when leaving the building.

“Now the investigators are working at the scene, an investigation is underway. Investigators are preparing materials on the fact,” Tadevosyan said.
