RA Ministry of Defense informs:

“On the night of 16 August, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces provoked the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Syunik region, particularly in the section of the Black Lake, trying to secure a positional advance.

The Armenian positions carried out counter-actions, as a result of which the enemy was thrown back to the original positions. The enemy suffered at least one casualty during the skirmish. There are no victims from the Armenian side.”
