On 12 August, from 08:50 to 17:20, the National Crisis Management Center received alarms that strong winds on 11 August damaged roof tiles, trees, billboards, and rain pipes in various administrative districts of Yerevan.
The fire brigade from the fire-rescue detachments of the rescue department of the Yerevan city of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the rescue group of the special rescue center of the Rescue Forces Department left for the scene.
The rescuers carried out fortification and dismantling works, removed tree branches, damaged plates, demarcated areas and carried out duty on the roads.

On 11 August, at 5:53 pm, the Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center received information that a tree on Mkhitar Sparapet Street in the village of Sis had broken due to a strong wind and had fallen on the road.
A fire brigade from the fire-rescue detachment of the regional rescue department of the Emergency Situations Ministry left for the scene.
Rescuers removed the tree from the road.
