The Prime Minister of Bulgaria Stefan Janev sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of Armenia. The message, in particular, reads:
“Your Excellency,
Please accept my warmest congratulations and best wishes on your election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the special nature of Bulgaria’s relations between Armenia and Armenia, based on centuries-old friendship, cultural and spiritual ties. Maintaining political stability in the Republic of Armenia and further reforms will contribute to the welfare of the country and the stability of the region, which is of great importance for Europe. I am convinced that the new government will continue to be committed to building a democratic Armenia for the benefit of the Armenian people.
I welcome Armenia’s policy of maintaining close relations with the European Union and express confidence that the Armenian side will have a reliable, good partner and friend in the person of Bulgaria.”
