The Government will convene a special session on 12 July, during which it will make a decision on appointing Argishti Kyaramyan Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

It should be noted that this is Argishti Kyaramyan’s 8th position in about 2 years.

> From 1 June, 2016 to 6 June, 2018 he worked in the RA Prosecutor’s Office as the Prosecutor of the Shirak Region Prosecutor’s Office, then the Yerevan City Prosecutor’s Office.

> From 8 June, 2018 to 26 February, 2019, he worked in the system of the RA State Revenue Committee, holding the positions of Deputy Head of the Department for Detection of Violations and Execution of Administrative Proceedings, Head of the Investigation Department, Head of the Investigation-Operative-Intelligence Department.

> From 1 March, 2019 to 4 May, 2020, he worked in the RA State Control Service as an assistant to the head, deputy head, and acting head of the service.

> On 4 May, 2020, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee. / He managed to hold office for  1 day.

> On 5 May, 2020, by the decree of the President of the Republic, he was appointed Deputy Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. He served for 1 month, 3 days.

> On 8 June, 2020, by the decree of the President of the Republic, he was appointed Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. / Has served for 3 months.

> By the 8 October decree of RA President Armen Sargsyan, Argishti Kyaramyan was relieved of the post of director of the RA National Security Service. / Has been in office for about 2 months.

By RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s 24 December decision, Argishti Kyaramyan was appointed Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee. / Has been in office for about 7 months.
