On 15 March, the relatives of the killed soldier Lyuks Stepanyan had decided to bring their son’s coffin from village Verin Getashen to Yerevan in front of the Government House as a sign of protest.

According to the record on the Facebook page of Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Press Secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense, Seyran Ohanyan, RA Minister of Defense had gone to meet with the parents of the killed soldier, and to persuade them to take the body back to the village and bury.

“Currently the parents are carrying the body back to the village to bury. Seyran Ohanyan, the RA Defense Minister will participate in the funeral.” Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Press Secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense wrote in his Facebook page.

At the same time the parents of the soldiers who were killed in the Army gathered in front of the Government Building protesting and demanding to reveal and to punish the real culprits of the incidents that had taken place in the Army.
