The leader of the “Citizen’s Decision” Social-Democratic Party Suren Sahakyan is taken to the police station. A skirmish took place in 6/18 precinct.

We learn about this from the live broadcast of the deputy candidate’s Facebook page.

Citizen’s Decision” pre-election headquarters informs,

“Suren Sahakyan, a member of the Executive Body of Citizen’s Decision” Social-Democratic Party, number one on the pre-election list, was prevented from entering the polling station 6/18 in Yerevan.

We informed the CEC about the obstruction. They replied that they had no right to interfere and informed the precinct commission to allow them to enter. However, the precinct commission refused. As a result of the dispute

Suren Sahakyan and another proxy of Citizen’s Decision” Social-Democratic Party was brought to the police station.

We condemn such a course of action, which will cast a clear shadow, question the transparency of the electoral process and the reliability of the results obtained.

We will inform about further developments next.”
