The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a statement alleging that Armenian units fired on Azerbaijani positions, which is another misinformation. The RA Ministry of Defense informs.
“Armenian units did not fire on the combat positions in the territory of Azerbaijan, but took measures to stop the engineering work carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the border area of Armenia. In particular, on 11 June, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces once again tried to carry out engineering works in the border area of Kut village, Gegharkunik region. Armenian units responded, after which the engineering work was stopped,” the statement reads.
