Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the European Council Charles Michel, discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Kremlin press service reported.
“The current situation around Nagorno Karabakh, taking into account the possibility of further consistent implementation of the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on 9 November, 2020 and 11 January, 2021, was discussed.
The unblocking of economic and transport ties in the region, the solution of humanitarian problems of the population were among the priority issues.
“Charles Michel expressed support for the ongoing work, including with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Russia, the United States and France),” the statement said.
