Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu and Armenian Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan, in a telephone conversation, discussed the situation in the Russian peacekeepers’ deployment.
RIA Novosti, reported citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
“On 12 May, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergey Shoygu had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan. During the conversation, the situation in the areas where the Russian peacekeeping force is carrying out tasks in Nagorno Karabakh was discussed,” the statement reads.
It is noted that topics of mutual interest for the parties were also discussed.
