“Andrei Kovachev, Member of the European Parliament, Standing Rapporteur on Armenia, together with several members of the European Parliament, have initiated and together with 119 other members of the European Parliament, appealed to Ursula von der Leyen, European Commission President and Charles Michel President of the European Council, with request to force Azerbaijan to release Armenian prisoners of war,” – Arman Yeghoyan, MP of the “My Step” faction of the National Assembly, said this today, on 4 May, during the regular sitting of the National Assembly.

According to him, the statement refers to the 72 people whose captivity is accepted by Azerbaijan, as well as the 112 people about whom Azerbaijan does not provide information, and the 61 people whose captivity is denied by Azerbaijan, but there are facts that they were captured.
