Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov has left Yerevan for Baku, where he is scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the country’s Prosecutor General Kamram Aliyev. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation reported.
Krasnov met today in Yerevan with the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan.
During the meeting with the Prime Minister, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation stressed the need for the full implementation of point 8 of the trilateral statement of 9 November, 2020, according to which there should be an exchange of prisoners of war, hostages and other detainees. Krasnov stressed that his efforts in this direction are ongoing and he will do everything possible to resolve the issue.
